Eligibility

  • Contestants must register before the posted deadline.
  • Commercial, nonprofit, family, and individual teams may enter if approved by organizers.
  • Each team is responsible for all required ingredients, serving utensils, and booth needs.

Cook-Off Rules

  • Chili must be prepared and served according to event food safety requirements.
  • Teams must keep chili at safe serving temperature throughout the event.
  • Teams should clearly label common allergens and heat level where possible.
  • Organizers may disqualify entries that do not meet safety or conduct expectations.

Judging Criteria

  1. Flavor and overall taste.
  2. Aroma and appearance.
  3. Texture and consistency.
  4. Creativity and crowd appeal.

Safety & Conduct

All participants are expected to follow organizer directions, keep the serving area clean, respect other teams, and help make this a family-friendly community event.
