Because of permitting requirements, Juneau Chili Fest is open to restaurants and approved commercial food operators only. Homemade chili entries are not permitted.
- Review the restaurant-only rules.
- Confirm your team can provide the required chili quantity.
- Plan your toppings and condiments so your chili is served the way you want.
- Contact the organizers to reserve your competitor spot.
What Competitors Need
5 Gallons to Serve
Bring 5 gallons of chili for public tasting and service.
1 Gallon for Judging
Set aside 1 gallon from your 5-gallon total so judges can evaluate entries consistently.
Your Condiments
Provide your own toppings and condiments to present your chili properly.
